"Lets be women who have mold-able hearts, first filling our souls with the timeless treasures of God's word, then seeking to know Him more as we read, travel, fellowship with one another and live a life beautifully for God's glory" - Gretchen Staffles

I love reading! I would love to share a little about a couple of my favorite books and also about books I will read this upcoming year God willing.

These are a few of my favorites that I've read and highly recommend!

  • Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis - Katie's testimony is beautiful! Through the book you see how much she has to depend on God daily. Here in the states it's so hard sometimes to truly depend on God because we have everything handed to us. It really challenged me not to want to live a comfortable life & how much I need to depend on God daily!

  • The Best Yes by Lysa Terkeurst - I seriously read this book when I needed it the most, I had always struggle with saying no to people. This book really helped with that & realizing it's not about pleasing people. Lysa does an incredible job pointing us back to what Gods word says. "Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant." (Galatians 1:10)

  • Bridge to Haven by Francine Rivers - I just finished this book a couple of days ago. It's amazing I seriously read it like in four days lol! Something that really stuck out to me was that sometimes we have to Let go of people and it trust that they are in God's hand, we can't do the impossible only God can.

  • Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers - This is a beautiful story of God's love towards us. He is always faithful and show us so love & mercy. Even when we are unfaithful He is always faithful!

  • Crazy love by Francis Chan - This book challenged me I read it a couple of years ago but definitely want to reread it. God is crazy in love with us and if we are truly in love with Christ our lives you reflect that and not be the same as before. Sometime we get caught up in ourselves and doing life. We need to live a radical "crazy" life that reflects God's love.

  • Captivating by Stasi Eldredge - I read this book with a group of friends and it was awesome! It shows us how we are all broken and how God loves us in our brokenness!

  • Lady in Waiting by Jackie Kendall & Debbie Jones - I read this book when I was in HS and is still one of my favorites. It lead me to make a decision waiting on dating people and really date somebody when I knew it was the person God wanted me to married. I highly recommend these to HS girls and single women.

Lies every young women believe and Boundaries in dating are two books that I also recommend to young girls and single women. I read lies young women believe but I did not read Boundaries in dating (but heard it was really good and wish I would of read it.)

Here are some books I plan to read this upcoming year, God willing!

- You and me forever (my husband and I are going to read it together)

- Women living well by Courtney Joseph

- The 5 love languages by Gary Chapman ( my husband I are just started reading this together )

- Simply Tuesday - Emily Freeman

- Undaunted by Christine Caine

- A million little ways - Emily Freeman

I would love to hear about the books you are reading or have read? Also if you have any recommendations let me know :
